WidijantoManado - SN Managing Director AKR Land Development, Widijanto, said that the development of Grand Kawanua Novotel Convention Center and Novotel Manado Golf & Resrot, are prepared for World Ocean Conference (WOC)  in May 2009, yet a proud of North Celebes people. This Grand Kawanua even gives  added value which is positively accepted by other hotels at North Celebes.

The problem is that Convention Hall with international standard are not seen in every international events, so Manado could get the chance to be one of them.  Grand Kawanua would give other hotels in Manado more profit because thousands of people who came is limited to about 200 room at Grand Kawanua.  "This means that other guests will have to stay at the other hotel",  said Widijanto.

The location is very representative with capacity from 3000 to 5000 guests from around the world.  Facility prepared for WOC includes Grand Kawanua Center which is the newest and the biggest convention hall in East Indonesia.  Main Hall with capacity of 3000 people, Junior Suite Meeting Room with capacity of 600 people, and 15 meeting room with capacity 30 to 100 people for each room.

Widijanto said, Grand Kawanua Novotel directly managed by the Novotel, Accor Group, a name that is already known and reputable international hospital industry in the areas of French origin who manage more than 3000 hotels worldwide. "Grand Kawanua have a international standard with security system that is designed for international conference for world leaders," he said while adding, Suite system sidential Ex and 26 security professionals with the very existence of a special lane that connects 4 VIP Rooms, 26 Suites Prexecutive. <mel>
